RPI's top line combined for eight points and scored all three

University hockey team on Saturday night in non-conference action
at Houston Field House.

After a scoreless first period that saw Bentley come away empty
handed on two 5-on-3 opportunities, RPI netted two goals in the
second period, both on the power play.
Senior Chase Polacek netted the first one just 30 seconds into
the period with freshman Justin
Breton (Fitchburg, Mass./Boston Jr. Bruins) serving a
penalty for hooking. Senior Tyler Helfrich set the goal up, feeding
Polacek a pass across the slot, who then skated in on the left side
for the goal.
Polacek and Helfrich teamed up on the second goal at 9:16, this
time with Helfrich scoring. Polacek, on the far circle, passed to
Helfrich in the slot who proceeded to beat Falcon goalie Branden
Komm (Williamsville, NY/Northfield Mount Herron)
top-shelf.
The third member of RPI's top line, sophomore C.J. Lee, netted a
goal at 1:50 of the third period with Polacek and Helfrich on the
assists.
Komm made 21 saves for Bentley in his collegiate debut.

season next weekend with a series at Clarkson beginning Friday
