WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University junior Sean Keady (Norwood/Norwood HS) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Baseball Player of the Week and his teammate, freshman first baseman Evan Mondor (Rehoboth/Dighton-Rehoboth Reg. HS) has been selected as the conference's Rookie of the Week.

Both were recognized following a 2-1 week for the Falcons that included a doubleheader sweep of Saint Anselm College.

Keady hit .438 (7-16) and had a .526 on base percentage during the three games, with six RBI, six stolen bases and five runs scored. After stealing two bases in a 4-3 15-inning loss to Stonehill, he had six hits, six RBI, five runs scored and four stolen bases in the Saint Anselm twinbill Saturday. Included were four hits in the opener and four RBI in the nightcap, including a three-run double.

The performance raised Keady's season average to .242 overall and .276 in games against East Region teams. The three-year starter is third in the NE-10 in stolen bases (16), and the 2012 third-team All-Northeast-10 selection has 74 for his career, second most in program history.

Mondor, the NE-10 Rookie of the Week for the second time, was 6-of-14 (.429) with a .571 slugging percentage and a .556 on base percentage. He hit safely in all three games and had five hits, five runs, two doubles and three RBI in Saturday's doubleheader. He also handed a total of 39 chances at first base, remaining errorless on the season.

For the season, Mondor is hitting .247 with four doubles and ten RBI. Earlier this season, he set an NCAA record with 36 putouts in a 16-inning win at Rollins College.

Bentley, 9-13 overall and 2-1 in the NE-10's Northeast Division, is scheduled to play at Merrimack Tuesday.
