On This Day, 2015: French's Goal Sends Bentley Past No. 20 Robert Morris 1-0

On January 10, 2015, sophomore Max French scored the game's only goal with 4:26 left in the third period to break a scoreless tie and give the Bentley hockey team a 1-0 victory over No. 20 Robert Morris in Pittsburgh.

French's goal, his 14th of the season, from line mates Brett Switzer and Andrew Gladiuk was the first goal of the night after more than 55 minutes of scoreless play, and gave Bentley a split of the weekend series with the first-place Colonials.

Freshman goalie Jayson Argue made 29 saves for his first career shutout.

The Falcons held a 34-29 advantage in shots. They outshot Robert Morris 14-10 in the first period and 13-9 in the third period.

Bentley improves to 8-5-2 in Atlantic Hockey with the victory, and Robert Morris drops to 10-3-3.
