WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley returns to Atlantic Hockey competition on Friday night when they host the RIT Tigers for its only game of the weekend.
The Falcons split a home series against Alaska Anchorage last weekend with a 2-1 overtime win and a 3-2 defeat. RIT had a nine-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday night at Niagara in a 2-1 overtime defeat.
Friday's game is a matchup of two of the top three teams in the AHA standings. At 5-0-1 Bentley is the only team in the league yet to lose a conference game. With 16 points they are in third place. The Tigers are in second place with 19 points with a 6-3 record.
Through mid-November, Bentely ranks third in the league in both goals scored and goals against per game. They are scoring an average of 3.00 goals per game and allowing 2.64. RIT ranks second in goals per game (3.25) and first in goals against per game (1.92).

These teams played one series last year, in early November in Waltham and it was a split. Bentley won the first game 5-0 as

Oskar Bakkevig and
Chase Davis were among the goal scorers. The Tigers took the second game, 6-2.
Friday's game will be the 53
rd all-time meeting between the two teams. RIT leads the series 30-18-4. They will meet again this season, on February 20 in Rochester.
