Field Hockey Looks to Extend Winning Streak on Tuesday at Home vs. SNHU

Sophie Manchester
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley field hockey will look to extend its four-game winning streak on Tuesday night when they host Southern New Hampshire at 6:00 pm.

It's the first of three games at home this week for the Falcons, who also host Southern Connecticut on Friday and Saint Michael's on Sunday in a non-conference game.

Bentley's offense has been on fire the last three games with 20 goals combined. They scored five each in wins over Molloy and Mercy and 10 against Saint Michael's on September 24.

In the victory over Saint Michael's, Madeline Krepelka had a hat trick, plus two assists, which was the first hat trick by a Bentley player since Sam Simione in 2021.

Saturday's victory at Mercy saw Sophie Manchester and Gracie Moore each score two goals. Bentley scored three goals over the final 15-plus minutes to rally from a 3-2 deficit for a 5-3 win. Moore, who was the NFHCA Division II Offensive Player of the Week on September 24, had two of those goals.

Manchester also had two goals in the Saint Michael's game.

Bentley's win streak started on September 17 with a 2-1 triumph over Assumption. They are 4-4 overall and 3-0 in the NE10 and are one of three teams that are unbeaten in NE10 action. The others are Saint Anselm and Adelphi.

SNHU comes into Tuesday's game at 5-3 overall and 1-1 NE10. Southern Connecticut is 4-4 overall and 1-1 NE10. They visit AIC on Tuesday night.
