WALTHAM, Mass. – Lukas Swedin was named the Atlantic Hockey Goalie of the Week on Tuesday after posting a shutout in Bentley's 3-0 victory over Vermont.

Swedin made 30 saves as the Falcons blanked UVM in their season opener. He also helped Bentley's penalty kill go 3-3.

It was the third career shutout for the sophomore from Stockholm. He was a two-time AHA Goalie of the Week last season.

The Falcons are back on the ice on Friday when they open a series at the University of North Dakota.
