Box Score 1 Melbourne, Fla. – On its second day in Florida, Bentley defeated Bemidji State 9-3 for its first win of the trip. Earlier in the day they dropped a close one to West Chester, 7-6.
The Falcons had a balanced attack in the win over Bemidji as six different players drove in a run. Sophomore catcher
Alexa Gross drove in two.

Maddie Pickett went four innings and earned the win. Freshman
Vittoria Cuscia was strong in relief. She went three innings and allowed just one base runner to close out the game.
The Falcons jumped on Bemidji early with seven runs in the second inning. 11 batters came to the plate in the inning.
The first game of the day saw the Falcons drop a tough one to West Chester, 7-6.
Trailing 7-3 in the top of the seventh they mounted a three-run rally but could not complete the comeback.
With two runners on and no outs, an RBI ground out by
Ella Bunovsky made it 7-4. The next batter Carly Di Mento doubled to center to score
Emma Callahan.

Michelle Diaz singled to score DiMento to make it a 7-5 game, but West Chester was able to escape the jam and record the final two outs.
Bentley (2-8) continues its trip on Monday with a doubleheader against Goldey-Beacom.
