WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley football team is firing on all cylinders as it prepares for its first Northeast 10 game of 2026 at Franklin Pierce Saturday, Sept. 26. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
 
Learned from the best
Following its season opening loss at No. 1 Ferris State (Sept. 4), the Falcons have dominated both sides of the ball in their two most recent games. Bentley toppled Saint Anselm, 48-14, on the road (Sept. 12). The Falcons' home debut was a 49-7 thumping against Post (Sept. 19). Between the two wins, Bentley averaged 548.0 yards of total offense, while allowing just 180.5 yards of total offense.
 
The 2025 blemish
Bentley won the 2025 Northeast 10 Championship, but it didn't come without a conference loss. Franklin Pierce was the only NE10 team to beat the Falcons last year (35-21). The Ravens flew out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.  The Bentley offense mustered just 49 rushing yards, while the defense yielded 422 yards of total offense (176 rushing, 246 passing).
 
Winning with Warnock
Junior quarterback Luke Warnock reached 300 passing yards (305) for the first time in his career at Saint Anselm (Sept. 12). He followed up that performance by tying his career high for touchdown passes with five against Post (Sept. 19). Through three games this season, Warnock has 796 passing yards and eight touchdowns to one interception. He leads the NE10 in passing yards, and he's tied for the conference lead in passing touchdowns.
 
Osgood as anyone
Luke Warnock isn't the only Bentley quarterback making an impact in 2026. Senior Isaiah Osgood was named the NE10 Offensive Player of the Week following the Falcons' win at Saint Anselm (Sept. 12). He ran for 168 yards and two touchdowns against the Hawks.
 
Hangin' with Mr. Cooper
Junior tight end Cooper Marcum has two touchdown catches in each of Bentley's wins this season. He had seven catches for 101 yards at St. Anselm (both career highs), and he totaled 78 yards on six catches against Post. Marcum is tied for the second-most catches (16) this season, and his 200 receiving yards rank fourth.
 
Welcome to the end zone
Three Falcons caught their first-career Bentley touchdowns against Post last week (Sept. 19). Senior Peter Bibby III reeled in a 30-yard score, junior Eli Batista caught a 31-yard touchdown pass, and graduate transfer Parker Woodring make a leaping touchdown grab in the back of the end zone.
 
Peter, Peter, football eater
Senior Peter Bibby III entered his senior season with only five career receptions, but he has been gobbling up catches in 2026. Bibby's 17 catches are tied for the NE10 lead, and he ranks second in receiving yards with 229.
 
Newcomers on defense
Graduate transfer Caleb Procaccini and freshman Braden Smith are Bentley's top two tackles through the first three games of the season. Procaccini's 26 tackles rank third in the NE10, and Smith ranks fourth with 24 tackles.
 
Staying perfect
Sophomore Peter Vafiadis (3-for-3) is one of only two kickers in the NE10 that hasn't missed a field goal attempt this season (min. 3 attempts). What's more, Vafiadis is a perfect 13-for-13 in point-after tries.
 
Scouting Franklin Pierce (1-1)
The Ravens opened the season with a 27-18 loss at Marist (Sept. 4), but they bounced back with a 56-28 win over St. Anselm (Sept. 19). Despite having played only two games, Anthony Jonson is the NE10's leading rusher with 252 yards on the ground. He has also reached the end zone three times. Joseph Mugovero has four catches for 168 yards this season. Half of those receptions were touchdowns. Defensively, three different Ravens have one interception,
