Virginia (Lee) Tow became the second women's volleyball player in school history to be included in the Bentley Hall of Fame when she was inducted in 1996. During her four-year career from 1983 to 1986, the Falcons posted a record of 106-37.

As a freshman, Virginia was named as the team's Most Valuable Player while averaging 1.6 digs and 1.5 kills per game.

In her sophomore year, Bentley reached the semifinals of the Northeast-8 Conference championships. She averaged 2.4 kills, 2.4 digs and 1.0 service aces per game on her way to being named to the All-NE-8 and All-State first teams.

During her junior and senior seasons, Bentley won 64 of 76 matches and won the conference tournament each year. Virginia, who served as the team's co-captain and was named to the first team All-NE-8 each season, was the tournament MVP in 1985 as well as the team MVP. She had 64 service aces and 3.1 kills per game as a junior.

"My best memory of Bentley volleyball is from the first season that we won the Northeast-8 championship," Virginia remembered. "It was a real exciting tournament. In one match, we were trailing and someone on our team was injured. The substitute sparked us to the victory and the championship."

As a senior, Virginia had a school record 98 service aces and also averaged 2.3 kills and 2.7 digs per game. She was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division Il Northeast Region squad.

Throughout her career, Virginia missed just five of Bentley's 143 matches and her 321 career service aces are still a school record. Her 816 career kills ranked tenth in school history at the time of her induction.
