Head Coach Sandy Hoffman once described Jennifer Ghiz Pawloski as the "backbone" of the Bentley Volleyball team. Both on and off the volleyball court, Jennifer was a leader for a team that posted an unbelievable 146-18 mark in her four seasons on the team.

"Jennifer really dedicated herself to the sport and Bentley volleyball," said Hoffman. "She put a lot of pressure on herself and her teammates to improve the program. She had so much pride in the school and the team."

Like fine wine, Jennifer and Bentley got better every year with age. In each of her four seasons, Bentley set a team record for winning percentage. On Bentley's all-time lists at the time of her induction, she ranked third in kill percentage (.299), seventh in kills (921), ninth in blocks (220) and 10th in aces (145).

In her rookie season, Jennifer helped the Falcons to a 24-5 record and the Northeast-8 Postseason Championship while being named second team All-Northeast-8. She led the team in kill percentage (.252) and was third in overall kills. The following year, Bentley finished 40-7 and once again captured the NE-8 title. Bentley also advanced to the ECAC Division II Championships for the first time ever. Statistically she improved as well, leading the Falcons in hitting percentage, passing and blocks while finishing second in kills and digs.

1987 was another remarkable season for the Turners Falls, Mass. product and Bentley, as the team ended the year with a 37-3 record, a 22-match win streak and another NE-10 regular season title. Bentley also finished third during a repeat trip to the ECAC Division II Championships. This time, she was named first team All-NE-10 while ranking second on the Falcons in kills and third in kill percentage.

Jennifer saved the best for last, as Bentley enjoyed an amazing season in 1988. The Falcons went 45-3 (best in school history) with a 35-match win skein and NE-10 regular season and postseason championships. In fact, Bentley was undefeated in the NE-10 during both the regular season and postseason. Her .366 kill percentage that year is still the fourth-best in school history. She also was named first team AII-NE-10 again and received the team's Coach's Award.
