  • Bentley’s volleyball coach from 1982 until stepping down for health reasons before the 2014 season, and an assistant athletics director for nearly a quarter-century.
  • Put up a long and very courageous fight against a rare form of cancer before passing away on August 31, 2015.
  • 2014 inductee into the American Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
  • In 32 seasons, led Bentley to a 758-366 record with her victory total the most in New England history and sixth best in Division II history.
  • Her tenure included 11 Northeast-10 regular season championships, nine NE-10 tournament titles and 11 NCAA Divison II regional bids, including a first-ever Sweet 16 appearance in 2005.
  • Selected as the Northeast-10 Coach of the Year eight times, most recently during her final season at the helm, 2013. Since that year, the award has been named in her honor.
  • There were 28 winning records in her final 31 seasons and her teams posted a winning percentage exceeding .600 22 times. In regular season conference play, her teams won better than 80 percent of the time.
