Hall of Fame
A workhorse right-hander for the Bentley Falcons during the first half of the 1980’s, Kevin MacIntyre finished his career as the program’s all-time record holder in wins, games pitched and complete games. His 15 victories remained a Bentley record for nearly 15 years, and he is one of only eight players in school history to pitch in 50 or more games.
Kevin delivered his best season as a senior, earning first-team All-Northeast 10 honors. That year, he became a two-way player for coach Bob DeFelice, finishing 5-3 with a 2.82 ERA while also hitting .274 with three homers and 20 RBI. Two years earlier, the Stoughton native led the conference in wins with 5.
His passion for baseball didn’t end at Bentley as he continued to compete in the Cranberry and Boston Park Leagues. He retired a couple times, but remarkably,, he was still pitching for the Park League's TJO Sports well into his 50s. He even earned All-League honors in 2016, more than three decades after his Bentley career concluded.
