Bentley University

One of the pioneers in the history of the Bentley lacrosse program, Jon Gozzo helped the Jim Murphy-coached Falcons claim the first three Northeast-10 regular season titles as well as the initial two NE10 playoff championships.

As a senior in 1996, Jon was recognized as the NE10 championship game MVP after leading the Falcons to a victory over Quinnipiac for the second straight season. His honors that season also included Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year, first-team All-Conference and honorable mention USILA All-America. He was a major reason the Falcons were unbeaten against NE10 opponents from 1994 to 1996.

Jon stayed very active in the sport following his 1996 graduation. He was an assistant to Murphy at Bentley, was both the head and assistant lacrosse coach at Winnacunnett High School, was involved with Seacoast United lacrosse, and was the founder and principal with Lax Wax, a New Hampshire-based lacrosse equipment company.
