  • Standout defensemen for the Falcons with his arrival on campus coinciding with the program’s transition into Division I. Bentley played an independent schedule his freshman year before moving on to the MAAC Hockey League, the forebearer of the current Atlantic Hockey.
  • Averaged a point a game during his career with 35 goals and 85 assists for 120 points, a total that still ranks 12th in program history and first among blue liners.
  • Twice honored as the MAAC Hockey League Defensive Player of the Year, sharing the honor in 2000 and winning it outright in 2002.
  • Led team in scoring in both 2001 (5-20-25) and 2002 (14-19-33).
  • Was a two-year team captain who was voted All-MAAC honors three times, including first team in 2000 and 2002.
  • Owns Bentley’s Division I records for goals in a season (14) and career (26) by a defenseman.
